Ink & Iris began writing poetry at the age of seventeen after discovering the works of Mary Oliver in a second-hand bookstore. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, their work often explores themes of nature, transience, and the quiet spaces between human connection.
After completing an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University, they have been published in various literary journals and have been a resident at the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Their first collection of poetry, "Whispers in Falling Leaves," was published in 2021 to critical acclaim.
